[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Hunter Ifland. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 19:12, 11 November 2022 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Talk:Graham Hancock. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! - The reply to the said editor is being respectful and very civil. Is no one allowed to point out that his claim was incorrect? I did not attack the editor himself, if his comment is read "Since they call him that, we cannot decide to omit that fact. It would be dishonest. Your opinion (or anyone else's who is not an RS) does not matter". First he makes a factual error by not reading the references, then he doesn't assume good faith by telling the other editor's opinion doesn't matter. If you read my comment I don't make any assumptions about the editor I'm replying to, just that he is saying something is a fact when it actually isn't in the reference text. Can you clarify your opinion that my comment is not in good faith? Which part exactly? Hunter Ifland 21:25, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- It’s a fact that our opinions don’t matter, only reliable sources matter. Good faith doesn’t come into it. IMHO calling editors guardians doesn’t suggest good faith. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doug Weller (talk • contribs) 21:31, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- So it is just your opinion when suggesting good faith or not, in my opinion guardians is actually pretty neutral almost positive by definition. I think it's good everyone questioning the integrity of all the articles and sources. I would argue that the neutrality NPOV policies are the biggest issues with the article, because as a whole if you read Hancock's article versus say the Younger Dryas impact hypothesis article, it is quite odd how they can both be considered neutral by comparing the tones of each said article. Almost night and day in terms of balanced wording. Hunter Ifland 22:01, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Hunter Ifland
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hunter Ifland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Mccapra (talk) 19:18, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
